11 years old. He is the older twin brother of Lilian. He and his brother joined the Children's Crusade to have God forgive their mother for committing suicide due to the rumors surrounding their birth. (Back in the Middle Age, having twins meant the mother slept with two different men) Laurent is even tempered, gentle, and much more mature than his younger brother. He gets along well with other boys, and has a dedicated, kind spirit that seems unbroken by even his childhood struggles. He and his brother share a form of telepathy, allowing them to communicate in words and sensory information over long distances. While chasing after Hugo to avenge his younger brother's death, Laurent was repeatedly stabbed in the face and the throat, as he tried to prevent Hugo from escaping. After being separated for so long, he and Lilian finally reconciled together and are now at peace.
