14 years old. He is the Corporal of the Children's Crusade. The son of local leatherworkers, Luc is a happy-go-lucky, optimistic boy with a good attitude and boundless cheer. Quite tall for his age, he is also the oldest member out of all the children. He plays the dependable role in the group for always maintaining a positive and cheerful mood. He gets along well with the younger boys, and tends to be the heart of the Crusade, supporting and cheering up anyone whose resolve falters. He's best friends with Marc, but open and accepting to nearly everyone. He dies safeguarding their valuables from the bandits sent by Hugo, and is shot through the stomach with an arrow before having his head being half way chopped off — not enough to instantly kill him, and is left to bleed out on the ground. His death is considered to be the catalyst of the danger and tragedy that awaits the Children's Crusade.
