A high-ranking member of the Knight's Templar branch. Hugo acts as an adviser and guardian to the Children's Crusade. He, alongside his fellow members, provides armed protection to the children, as well as managing their financial savings deposit. He fabricated Étienne's miracles to exploit money and status, which later granted him a castle of his own. Underneath his fake pretense, Hugo intends to profit by selling the children off as slaves in the Middle East. Using initiation rites to becoming an official member of the Knight's Templar as an excuse, he forced Lilian, Pierre and Guillaume into sex — and later on, he raped Henri. Also, as part of the initiation rites, he forced Lilian, Pierre and Guillaume to fight to the death in nude, all the while indulging himself in a demon-worshipping feast. After being ambushed by Nicolas, Guy and Laurent outside of his castle, he was eventually beheaded by Nicolas.
