14 years old. He is a former member of the bandits that attacked the children's village. After being saved by Étienne's mercy, he vows to accompany the Children's Crusade and protect its members. He is, by far, the most experienced with fighting out of all the members. Guy is outwardly rough and crass, with a leaning towards violence and an antisocial personality. Inside, however, he is sympathetic to the weak and carries strong values of family and loyalty. During Henri's failed attempt at suicide, Guy stabs him into the stomach so that he takes the responsibility for his death — as suicide was considered a sin — and that Henri may still go to heaven. After Étienne's death, he and Nicolas made Marseille their new home. Guy, who was 25 years old at the time, became a leather craftsman as he swore never to hold a sword again. He did not resist as he was eventually killed by robbers.
