Lemon Takinami is the only female on the Shonen Jump Editorial Board and the Saotomes' new editor. She has an extremely intimidating demeanor that makes it difficult for her to work with new people. Despite earning compliments on her editorial skills, her boss, Mr. Shueisha, drives her to the brink of tears criticizing her interpersonal ineptitude, leaving her desperate to form a good working relationship with Mobuyuki. Mobuyuki is initially terrified by Lemon, but the fear recedes after Lemon embarrasses herself in the meeting, leading him to accept their new partnership. Lemon will also aid the Yurizono sisters in winning an award and establish herself as their agent for their forthcoming manga. Lemon is very prone to wild fantasies, which often lead to nose bleeds and her departure from the scene. Chief amongst these is the idea of being adored by both elder and younger girls at the same time, Mobuyuki's exact situation. This may be tied to her own status as a middle child with an elder sister, Melon, and younger sister, Pine. When Pine arrives, she demonstrates significant contempt for Lemon and her fantasies.
