One of the students who survived the bus crash. Shima is one of the murderers. After the crash, Shima attempted to save the students still alive on the bus. The person who had been bullying him before the crash is alive, and asks for help. While Shima is good-willed enough to attempt this, the bully talks about having sex with the girl Shima likes and then dumping her, as that will be 'the only way Shima has a chance with her'. Shima is enraged, and kills the bully with a brick before fleeing the bus. Shima beats Odzu with a bat, when he thinks Odzu has figured out his crime,but is later caught by both Kunikida and Sanada at separate times. When confronted by Sanada, Shima attempts to kill himself, but ends up arrested.
